The Austin AI Film Festival brings together filmmakers, creators, technologists, and industry leaders exploring how AI is changing the craft of filmmaking. The festival centers on hybrid and generative films, with screenings, panels, keynotes, masterclasses, and workflow breakdowns focused on how the work is actually made.

mythosXYZ is back. Following up on their June Unreal Engine character pipeline showcase, they’re riding the AI filmmaking wave - and bringing mythosXYZ characters Ember and Wes through the portal with them.
They’ll showcase how live-action actors and MetaHuman characters move through an AI filmmaking workflow, from scripts and performance to continuity, cinematics, lighting, and story — blending Unreal Engine, traditional 3D, character turnarounds, and emerging AI tools along the way.
AI pipeline? Yeah, we had the same question. So we started testing it.
If you’re curious about where Unreal, 3D, live action, and AI actually meet in a working creative pipeline, come see it in motion. We’ll walk through the tools, show the experiments, share what’s working, and probably reveal a few things that got weird before they got good.
They will also share early acting and action-layout tests using a live performer with a digital character overlay to explore timing, interaction, and performance. Actors. MetaHumans. AI. Controlled chaos.
